Get to know the girls and women who currently represent our local chapter
and advocate for issues that matter most to girls and women with disabilities
nationwide.
Damajia is a kind and hardworking girl! She loves sports, helping people, spending time with her sister, reading, and coloring. Her current goals are to have a better understanding of math and develop more life skills.
Mary is creative, loving, and unique. She plays basketball, tennis, and track. She loves to sketch and read, and is a project 351 ambassador. In the future, Mary would like to go to her local technical high school and attend the Disney College Program with a degree in disability studies. She hopes to become an advocate for people with disabilities.
Maura is a confident and creative girl. She loves to color, sing, dance, participate in Special Olympics, and work out. She hopes to learn how to drive, and get a job as either a policeman, fireman, actress, or model and get married.
Shania is a friendly girl who gets along well with everyone! She loves to play the piano, play basketball, listen to music, and hang out with friends. In the future, she would like to get a job where she can work with kids and make more friends.
Michaela is a happy, kind, and caring person! She loves Emma Wiggle, dancing, singing, playing basketball, kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming. This year she became a Cotting Roadrunner. She wants to work at an animal shelter, and hopes to someday meet Emma Wiggle.
Nicole is a computer savvy, artistic, and happy woman! She loves using her computer skills, adult coloring, and watching her favorite TV shows. Her goals include continuing going to her work program every day, spending time with family, and traveling. She is excited to go to the Bahamas and the White Mountains.
